Great review. I love historical fiction. This book is truly interest and intriguing. It has unique plot and characters. I'm looking forward in reading the sequels to it.

Beorhtwulf is king of Mercia in a day and age when the greatly feared Danes are roaming the land. Burgred is the king’s brother. Eadwulf is Beorhtwulf’s only son. One day, while exploring in the woods, Eadwulf comes across something that tugs at his memory, but for the life of him, he cannot recall where he has seen it before. I also love to read historical fiction. Shadow of the Raven is an interesting one as it gives us an exciting plot from centuries ago when magic was still the biggest subject. Young Eadwulf is an interesting character to follow.
