Do you have a hobby? What kind of hobby is it? What does your close friend think about it? Do they also like it or do they see you as a crazy fellow? Do you wish you friends could join you in you adventure? If you gave positive answers to these questions then you will definitely want to read The Reel sisters by Michelle Cummings.

The book is a detailed adventure of a group of ladies (Rose, Veronica, Amanda, Sophie and Melody) as they engage in fly fishing. These women though of different ages share everything together as of they were age mates. With Rose as the leader of the group, they hope to achieve happiness through the power of women friendship.

When I began to read this book, I thought fly fishing was going to be the central theme but that was not the case. The main message of the book was friendship and other themes like unity, love, kindness, adventure and separation also added spice to the book.

The characters were well developed and each character seemed to have what was lacking in other characters. The dependability of these characters on each other helped their friendship to grow more and more.

what I really liked about the book was the wealth of knowledge included in this book. I acquired a vast knowledge on fly fishing. My first time of hearing about flying fishing was when I started reading this book and I found myself saying "what is fly fishing", " are there flies in the water, what kind of fishing is that", "wonders shall never end, how can someone just make out time to hunt flies?".

All my questions and doubts were cleared and I must say that I will give it a thought. The exposition of the process of fly fishing was simply amazing.

Another thing I loved was the unity that existed between the ladies. This was seen in their conversation, plays and joke even down to their division of labor. They did everything as if they were age mates and I really wish that people will emulate this attitude. They also had their way of comforting each other and that was simply wonderful.

My best part of the book was the part where Melody was rescued. She was the last member of the women group and her entrance was grand. She was practically fishes out of the river, naked.

There was nothing I disliked about the book except that the book contained so much f-word. For me, it was really annoying and I really wished the author could reduce it.

The book was captivating and inspiring, knowledge packed and interesting, all at the same time. It also addressed real life issues and there were so many lessons to be learnt. I give it 3 stars out of 4 stars. I deducted one star because of its excessive usage of vulgar language.

I recommend it to all lovers of adventure and to all fans of fishing
