The book is very interesting. I like how the topic is about a teacher that is not fluent in English verbally but liked the subject in writing. It is neat to see how the teacher interacts with his students and the world around him. It is really neat to see the world from a different culture’s perspective. The Title says it all, Mock my words! The author was open and shared things that he had gone through in his life that was difficult in the beginning. He always wanted to make sure everyone was ok but neglected himself. He learned as time went on, to stand up for himself. Some people came into his life and helped to learn to find his voice and do what he liked to do. The saddest part was when his Wife left him. I believe opposite attracts but you have to find that people that loves you for you!! I’m happy that the author found the love of his life. The feeling was mutual and the love was strong and encouraging!! The previous wife after all the hurt that was caused had the nerve to ask for a second chance. I’m happy the author found his voice and told her to keep it moving. The author learned that pleasing others is not enjoyment. The nugget that I took from this is to do what you love and have a team of support behind you. It is surprising the lives that are touched by our inspiration when we least expect because we are doing what we love and have a passion behind our purpose. I give a rate of 4 out of 4.

I just finished this book myself and was happily surprised how excellent it was. I think it got a little slow in the ending, and I wasn't a fan at how abrupt Laura was in her final scene, but ultimately an excellent read! Thank you for the review.
