This sounds like an interesting book based on your detailed review. I think many can relate, in some degree, to family dysfunction. It sounds like the author put careful thought into all the characters. Thank you for your review!

This story interests me in a 'nature vs nurture' vein. I'm always fascinated by the forces that shape a person's perspective and this book appears to address this very issue. Great review.

Thanks for the thorough review! This book sounds like a very good read. I would be curious to see how her mother is still controlling her from the grave. The mom sounds like an interesting character. Thanks, again!

I absolutely love the cover, and the review has drawn me right in. I don’t read a lot of fiction, but I’m going to read the sample pages and see what I think. Great review as always! :)

Controlling mother, I can definitely relate to that, but not to that extend. Wonderful review.

It looks like this book will have universal appeal. Mother-daughter relationships are not all they seem to be. I'll definitely have a look.

Mother-daughter relationships offer all kinds of fodder for exploration in fiction! This particular plot really intrigues me. At the point in time that you would think you would be free of a mother's controlling ways, this protagonist finds herself still deep in her mother's clutches. Kudos to the author's creativity in finding a fresh perspective. Kudos to you for a great review.
