This is a story of a girl named Aiyana who was diagnosed with dyslexia and had a difficulty in reading, understanding, and writing but had a rear gift which is how one part of her always gave her direction on what to play on the piano. The book characters were well developed. I'm glad you enjoyed reading the book. Nice review.

What an inspiring review! There is indeed a lot to learn from Aiyana's character. She succeeded against all and that was motivating. Thanks for this insightful review. Congrats on BOTD.

This story has a sentimental feel to it. The presence of infirmities can cause some people to wallow in self-pity, but it sounds like Aiyana makes the most of her situation and finds success. Also, the review is excellent. It clearly explains both the book's idea and the reviewer's preferences.

This sounds like a great book that shows there are multiple intelligences! Someone can be great at something while struggling in other areas. The description of the writing, using purposefully wrong/different language to show character backgrounds, sounds very interesting. Because of this review, I now want to read the book and learn more about Aiyana!

Aiyana has quite a challenging life but at least she has people who are supporting her including Eric and the hobby of playing piano.

I never heard or read about acausal parallelism before, and I find this book helpful for the awareness of the existence of dyslexic people. I know a lot of them are incredibly talented despite their learning struggles. Aiyana's story inspires us to overcome our challenges in life. Congratulations on the BOTD.

It seems like a fine story. There's a kind of encouragement that comes from the story of someone with a condition who eventually succeeds against all odds. Congratulations on being the Book of the Day.

I find Aiyana’s character intriguing. There are a lot of things to learn from this book. Nobody is perfect, and we are all uniquely gifted in one way or the other.

I love the character of Aiyana. Often a times, people with dyslexia are dismissed as being unable to succeed because of their condition but through this character we can learn that everybody can achieve great things despite all obstacles.
