I recently took a boat ride over a small portion of the open sea and can vividly identify with the huge wave raising its dragon-like head and looming over the craft! I'm already hooked on finding out why the boy was on the sea and whether he survived the ordeal. Great review!

That opening sentence would grab me, too. This book sounds really intricate, with loads of characters being looked after literally. I've put it on my to read list :)
Awesome review.

This is a wonderful review. I would like to read this book too soon. At times, it is the book that is slow-paced and focused mainly on character development that creates a bigger impact.

Thank you for such a thorough review! The suspense and action in this book sound like something I would enjoy. I like that you added your analysis of the book, describing the coming of age aspect and the enlightenment of a town.

I am interested in the title, but trying to read a novel is somewhat difficult for me though I'm trying to cope up. The story makes me want to read this book. Nice review

I like the story line already. The book seems intriguing though you highlighted of the flaws in style. I can see the book does not have that 'oomph' but it still sounds like a good read.
