You made so much Sense. There should be a balance between pleasure and responsibility besides after the adventure you have to go back home.LyorBoone wrote: ↑10 Jan 2020, 23:24 Marriage takes work, but it’s hard to put in the work when any one of the pair is absent. For soldiers, nothing is taken for granted because death is always on the mind. But for astronauts it is much easier to forget about those left behind while adventuring in Space. And in this case, the wives will find it easier to resent their husbands with less dangers to worry about. In comparison, Space is like a dream vacation they miss out on. So being busy isn’t a valid excuse for taking the life back at home for granted.

I agree, there is so much information on how a relationship must be and it puts pressure on the partners. I think it is important to focus on what works for you and your partner not what everybody else thinks it should be.

The lesson I learned from the author about marriage is understanding. Couples can not enjoy their marriage if there is no understanding. Couples should learn to spend time with each other and talk about deeply concerned matters and also should never lie to their partner no matter the circumstances.Chipochashe wrote: ↑07 Jan 2020, 13:40 The main protagonist has a divorce, Daniel suffers a separation, Sam feels he is floating and Alec needs counseling before he could commit. What lessons can we draw from their relationships?

It's important that partners are honest with other in expressing themselves. Bottling up what you feel will only lead to resentment or anger.
