Bible Passages

I am not religious, so Bible passages have to have some kind of meaning to the story for me to not feel like they're out of place. However, the quotes really seemed to connect with what was going on, which made them kind of fit in for me

I am a religious person and enjoyed the biblical quotes. I felt it made the book more meaningful since it was a type of spiritual journey to different places.

I didn't even bother to read those. I guess they must have had some correlation with the missions.

The bible verses showed the religious philosophy of the author and his character. It shows that despite their interest to venture out into the world, they still manage to keep their religious life intact.

Being from the other religion, The biblical passages seemed very interesting. They were linked to the story and they gave it a religious element, a sort of validation.

I think the quotes are relevant at the beginning but as the story unfolds, I find it hard to find the correlation.

I understand why the make a cool edition to the book however I personally do skip over them and prefer getting to the main story. I think they add some interesting context and do get why other people would love them, they just don't personally appeal to me

I like books that have quotes introducing each chapter irrespective of the source of the quotes as long as they contribute to the message of the book.

I quite liked it! As someone who's not particularly religious myself, I feel that the quotes add an extra element to the story that I can't really seem to describe with words!

Adding Bible quote before each of mission is a very nice thing. It opens their mind for the next experience they will face. Most of the quote are likewise relevant to the mission of the moment, so that make it inspiring.

I think that the Bible Passages are an excellent way to start them off! Even if you are not a religious person, there is no doubt that these provide an insight into the chapter's contents.

In my opinion, as long as the author do not use the passages to convince people into his belief then there is nothing wrong.

I’m conflicted. I love reading the Bible, but I kind of missed the purpose of the quotes here. I don’t think it would have made a difference if they weren’t there, especially since a famous quote was included as well. I just kind of asked myself ‘what’s the point?’

I think it was nice how the Bible quotes did come before each mission... Made it somewhat easier to flow with the mission.

I enjoyed it. Despite not being Christian, the fact that it was paired with a non-Biblical famous quote gave it a good feeling for me. There was something for everyone in the quotes before the chapters, which I appreciated.
