I find the Man mission Rules funny and thrilling too. One of my favorite rule is "He Who Whines Loudest Wears the Pink Bracelet."

I love the second rule of man mission, "Go Beyond Your Limits". I not only found this interesting but it also inspired me to never limit myself on what I think I can do.

I personally think " Whining is tolerated" is fair but in order to separate the boys from the men, I will go for " he who whines the loudest wears the pink bracelet."

My favorite man misson rules are:
No luxuries allowed.
He who whines loudest wears the pink bracelet.
These both rules made their adventures more interesting and funny.

I like the pink bracelet rule too. It shows the humor of the story. I also like go beyond your own limits but isn’t that what caused the whining which caused them to wear the pink bracelet? Funny.

It's my favorite as well. I guess our tastes match. :lol2:
Heart! We will forget him!
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.

When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!

I think "he who whines the loudest wears the pink bracelet" can be interpreted as other than keeping the pain to yourselves. It can be like "don't say 'it's so hard' and 'I can't do it' before trying your best". Also, pink bracelets aren't so bad. They can just be a funny story to tell your friends.

I found myself laughing at this too. But anyway, this was supposed to be men's mission, not boys'. I can understand that due to the risk involved, they discouraged whining since it's associated with weakness.

I think pink is a feminine color. I have a strong feeling that the author used pink as a sign of physical weakness so that anyone wearing pink was considered the weakest.

Same to me here. This one literally got me laughing. But I feel that it's somehow chauvinistic.

I think these rules were there to show strength. Fortunately that gave room for whining, except not so loud.

I liked the one about whining, it encourages strength and perseverance. I don't understand why they didn't allow luxuries though. But it was an interesting rull too.

I found the pink bracelet one too. But was it really to separate men from boys or men from women? If I'm not wrong, I think pink was used to drpict feminity.

This is true. Go beyond your limit is very inspiring. And I think it's what made the mission adventurous. Avoiding risks would have made it kinda boring.

Looks like many people found this funny, just as much as I did. But I'm glad that at least whining was tolerated. This allowed the protagonists to air out their sufferings, though not too loud.
