Education I believe is a necessity, as a human. Because without education we tend to be without direction but once education has been impacted in someone, he or she must have a value or be valued in the community.
So do the author to present education with much emphasis is quite a good thing. :tiphat:

I think the author has given a great value to education. And I also think that he was trying to show his culture. I understand his desire to be educated as he had to face many obstacles later on. I think the author wanted to show that education is the opportunity to achieve success, recognition and inspiration in life.

I think the author focused on his academic achievements to inspire others more than to set himself apart.

Even in nation buidling and human developments, the role of education can not be over emphasized. The author wish to not only stress the important of education, but to uplift the reader that the background does not matter, life's at birth is an open book, and you can carve out your own destiny.

I think the main focus of the book is the value of education. The author immensely tries to bring forth that education has the power to open many paths leading towards the success of life and therefore he inspires others to treasure the education as well.

Many people hate being illiterate either for themselves or for others. The thinking behind this is basically that education gives you liberty of doing job and when someone is brilliant in studies he has greater chances of getting previleged jobs.

Education is regarded so highly in he less developed countries contrary to popular belief. The lengths at which people go to have education is incredible.

Definitely he had a great inclination towards learning and that is the most important thing in his life as all his achievements are due to that passion only.
