ARA Review by Beckham Mazvidza of The Biblical Clock

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

THE BIBLICAL CLOCK

It has always been said science and religion are two parallel lines. This book sets to show how connected these facts are as he tries to put these opposing ideas into equilibrium dhowing how connected tgey are.The book is well written and Mr. Friedmann 's scientific background provides a solid platform on which he builds his theories.

The book starts off with a gripping story of the fall of the city of Acre during the crusades in 1291. It is through this story that we meet Isaac Ben Samuel, who miraculously survives the siege, who comes up with a formula for showing how the Earth is millions of years old long before scientist came to that conclusion. From that start you are drawn into as we travel through time meeting rabbis and other scholars as they share their wisdom .

Also, this book contains some relevant images and tables which enhance readability. This book didn't only question my faith but let me gain more wisdom about Judaism.

Those who are not religious might have a hard time with it. For everyone else, any book that can bring science and religion closer together, if not totally reconciled, is a good thing. It will take some effort on the part of the reader, but it is a first-rate piece of writing.

I give this book 5 out 5 stars because they were able to weave science and religion together into a fabric of great understanding about the universe and God.
