I just got started on the book and so far I can rate it 4 out of 4. The author's experience resonates with those who have had people in their lives affected by cancer. I think that is what would compel most people to read the book.

This is a really fascinating book. I loved the discussion on the natural cure of cancer. I would rate it at 4 out of 4 stars considering that it provides excellent therapy for cancer patients.

The war on cancer as brought out in this book has impressed me to say the very leat. The writer's passion to find a cure for cancer and to expose those in the way really opened my eyes to things i never knew about. We must begin to draw the line between saving lives and making money. May be thats the thing that stands in the way of finding a cure for cancer. Cancer became a reality for me when my grandmother was diagnosed with it. While she is no longer alive, I am hopeful a cure will be found. I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars

Overall, I don't think that the book is for me. I dislike reading any books with any relation to cancer. I do like the idea of a natural cure for cancer.

cancer has indeed become a monster in man's life. The book is quite educative and compelling to read. The author has researched thoroughly on it and hence recommend it to others

I have a hard time with the word cancer. I feel like, these days, it's just too broad of a term to encompass all the details. It's like, when someone asks what you want to eat, replying, "food." I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer about 15 years ago. I had surgery to remove the infected area, and the rest of my tests came back all clear. My dad, however, was diagnosed with appendiceal cancer, and he passed away about five years after going through all sorts of trials and treatments. It's hard to compare the two. So, when I see a title like "Winning the War on Cancer," I'm immediately cautious because I don't think it's just one war to be won. It's also not as easy as eat nothing but vegetables or never do x.

The beginning of the book is very moving. Somewhere along the line, the author seems to get off track and wanders to other subjects. And, now that I have finished it, I noticed that at one point she felt these herbs would cure cancer and yet people were still taking the extracts years later. Perhaps they are more like the maintenance drugs of big pharma? Something to think about for me.

What I liked most about the book is that Beljanski explains how cells are often mutated by environmental and even emotional toxins. She explained these things in a manner that the layman can easily understand, and in a very inspiring way. Even though the book is both personal and scientific I found the authors personal story more enthralling. There isn't much that I can say I did not like about the book. Overall it was an insightful read. This book fuels hope in the face of cancer.
