I gave not given much thought to how many books I intend to read, but I am curious as to how many books I can read by December.

I am at 51 and trying to get to 64. I'm torn between reading some short books to get my stats up and reading my current list and finishing where I do on 12/31.

I have never thought about this before. But on average i read three books a month. These are mostly interpretive literature (fiction or nonfiction) books. Most important thing is-- each book should add a new perspective or improve my view of what is already tucked away. So i guess this number goes to 30 or so books a year.
