Is William Lance a good father?

Post by Jsovermyer »

William Lance would do anything for his daughter Deborah. He tried to keep her safe. But was he a good father?

I have mentioned it earlier in the Bianka Walter's post that he was a good father and that's why I liked his character.

The line of protection and good fatherhood gets severly blurred based on personal bias, but for me i would say he was an "okay" father.

There are no black and white people. So, in general, he is a good father

He is a good father who is trying all he can to keep his daughter safe. It can be proved by his efforts to know how she is when he constantly reminds Debbie to be calling him.

I liked Willian Lance, he is such a loving and responsible father. I am impressed with the role he took of being both parents to Debbie, when her mother passed away when Debbie was 13years old.

Sure, being a single parent that could still bring up his father well was incredible. Debbie still celebrates this kind of life that her father had given her.

I found William Lance's character to be strong and I think he proved to be a good father to Deborah.

A father willing to go the extra mile is worth being called a good father so I would say he is worth to be called that.

I think he was a good father. And for a rich and busy man like him, he did a great job of staying involved in his daughter's life. I mean, a phone call every day? Now that's dedication.

From the little I've read he seems like a protective father, and a caring one. Those are good qualities but being overprotective can also be detrimental to a father daughter relationship.

It's obvious William Lance was a good father. It's not easy for a divorced man to be so consistently dedicated to his daughter to the extent of insisting on a phone call each day. Such unwavering love is the bedrock of successful families that everyone should emulate.

I agree with you. I think he is a good father no matter how his personality is.
