Being a single father tasked with raising a daughter is no simple job. He was a great father to Debie.

Seems you've answered yourself in the question. A good father will do everything possible to assist his children. William is definitely a good daughter.

I consider William a good father. A father who can do anything for her daughter ,especially try her best to protect her is great.

A father who is willing to go to great length to protect his daughter is indeed a good father. And William Lance proved that fact. Yes he is a good father.

I actually loved his personality. He did his best for his daughter Debbie notwithstanding he was a single parent.

A father who provides protection, leadership and love can be regarded as a good one. William does chow concern to Debbie and even puts his life on the line for her. In that respect, yes he is a good father.

I think that William Lance was a good father because he saved millions of dollars for his daughter, and he planned on handing the business over to her after he died. Yet I think that he was flawed (like everyone else) because he never confronted his butler for banging his daughter. He was also flawed because he never confronted his daughter for behaving inappropriately towards his butler when she was still a minor.

The fact that he was able to take care of his daughter despite his schedules and being rich means a lot. Sometimes wealth can distract a parent from his/her children.

These are the qualities that someone would need in a father too. One who can risk his life to save you. After all, the main roles of the father would include provision and protection as well not just siring.

He’s an ok father. He is very protective but he needs to let his daughter grow up on her own a little. Additionally his acceptance of her relationship surprised me. Her fascination with Robert while underage was a little odd.

Single parenting is difficult, therefore, it's not surprising that William takes great measures about his daughter's safety, which in majority, any father would do. Admirable on William's part, but likeability is a question?
