My favorite character was also Bud. I liked him because he had a good sense of humor, he loved to eat, and he never held back his words with rude people like Mr. Simmons, or William Lance's butler Robert Simpson. I especially enjoyed when Bud kept threatening to put a bullet in Mr. Simpson's ass, and when Bud suggested that Mr. Simmons ass was so fat he would have to have that checked during his strip search. Bud did not hold anything back.

Everyone seems to be vouching for Bud as the favorite character. I guess I might be changing my mind soon too about the same.

After reading just a few pages of the sample, I can say who I don't like - Debbie! The quintessential princess. She's difficult to like.
It's likely I will die next to a pile of things I was meaning to read - Lemony Snicket

Bud definitely. Always the source of comic relief.

I think Bud is my favourite character. He lightens up the story through his comic relief.

According to this story, I will stand beside Bud: his comical nature adds color to this black and white read.

I liked William Lance a lot because his love for Debbie was very evident in his actions. I also really liked Bud because his character was more on the funny side.

I have only just begun reading it, but I do really like the father already.

I identify more with William Lance since he has all it takes to be a good dad.
