Did 'Ghost Face' on the cover make you want to read the book more or less?

While the "ghost face" seemed a bit unprofessional and tacky, it did pique my interest. I was a bit surprised to see that it wasn't associated with Scream, so I definitely ended up judging a book by its cover. I'm not sure if I'll be reading it, but the cover at least got me see what it was about and to read the sample.

The cover definitely made me want to read the book less. I’m not a fan of the Scream horror movie series, so I transferred my disinterest to the book. I know better than to judge a book by it’s cover.

I've never been a fan of horror and never will. Therefore, I know nothing of the Scream horror movie series this book cover seems to be similar to. That isn't to say I don't enjoy a few suspenseful scenes that jolt a scream out of me every now and then. My point, though, is that the cover held no attractive force for me, and I never would have touched the book if the First Ten program didn't require a pretty much compulsory sampling. That was when I was quite surprised to discover that the contents of the book were readable to "mine precious sight tools."

The cover page content was able to arouse some curiosity although I have not yet found its real intention. The author employed a lot of creativity and perhaps many more will be drawn by the title as well.

The cover of the book didn't attract me perhaps because of the various versions of the mask have been used in different contexts including comedy. I read the preview and didn't find it a very attractive book, but perhaps it gets better as one gets further into it.

The cover art made me want to read the book when I first saw it. I instantly knew that this book would be a mystery or horror type of genre because of the blood on the ghost face. I have not read many horror books, but I love a good mystery novel especially one with those of suspense on it.

Yes, it definitely is an intriguing image for the cover, and at the same time, it conveys the type of story that it is. It elicits morbid curiosity and makes me want to read the book.

I've had a different experience. I felt that since ghostface was so popular, that the cover could have been more fresh and original (and perhaps something that reflects the content of the book better as well).

For me it was a very bad idea for the reference to the Scream movies, I mean, I haven't read the book yet but I don't think I want another sequel to the movie.

Can't say 'Ghost face' made me want to read the book more. As it has been said by others here, it's awfully similar to the 'Scream' movies. I think they could've come up with a more original and more attractive cover for the book.
