Well I read the review of the book The Face OF Fear. This is a murder mystery. I like this book due to the thriller actions present in the story. The cover of the book is also full of attraction with suspense. So I will like to read the book by its cover .

The cover certainly made me smile. Its refreshing to see a cover with something recognizable. When picking a book, the cover, title and keywords in the synopsis/ description are the main factors that will draw me in.

I didn't like the cover. It was not suitable for the story at all.

The cover provoked my interest, and I will read the book as soon as possible.

On another minor aesthetic note, I wasn't a big fan of the font change in the title either. That's just a pet peeve of mine I guess, but the font change just doesn't look right in a title to me.

I totally agree. I had to stop and read both the lines before knowing what the title was. I think they made a mistake with that too.

:oops2: No not at all. The ghost picture on the cover page take away my interest in reading the book.

The cover made me want to read it less. I tried to read the sample and couldn't get past the first page.

I love mystery/thriller/horror genre. I also subconsciously judge a book by its cover. For me, the movie scream was not a personal favorite so seeing the 'ghost face' image on a book does not entice me to pick the book up.

I wasn't appealing, because the topic isn't one I find interesting.

The cover image is the real catch that got me attracted.

It turned me off. I am personally not a fan, in fact, I keep away from horror books. Therefore, initially, I did not like the cover.

Not being a fan of the Scream series, I did note the similarity to the cover image, but that factor alone would not affect my choice to read the book. Interesting to think about, though.

I was a fan of the Scream franchise too! But, the use of it on the cover of the book made me less likely to read it. I tend to be more drawn to unique book covers.
