The cover made me think that this is some sort of a ghost story. And yes, it did. But later it turned out that it is not a sort of a book that I expected

I had no idea "Ghost Face" was an iconic thing. This was one of those books where I completely judged the book by the cover and determined it to be one I would likely not enjoy. I thought the Scream movies were outlandish, and I did not want to read anything that would have a similar storyline.
The synopsis of the book doesn't make it clear how the Ghost Face ties in so that does make it hard to determine how relevant it will be. I did enjoy the sample but eventually opted against this book as a result of the reviews I read.

I didn't and still don't really want to read this book. I'm not a fan of horror because life is horrifying enough as it is. I didn't like that Ghost Face was on the cover, it puts me off.

I know people say "don't judge a book by its cover," but the cover for this book definitely made me want to read it. I am a fan of the horror genre and love just about anything in it. However, I have to agree with what other people have been saying. Using a face that looks extremely similar to another horror movie franchise isn't the smartest idea. It can get people easily confused about the book. Some people may think its fanfiction for Scream when it's not.

The 'Ghost Face' put me off choosing the book to read. When I did read a sample, I thought it was fast-paced and very enjoyable.

Ghost Face made me want to read this book right away! I love horror books, and that cover screams horror.

As for me it didn't intrigue me much. Am not a big fan of horror so the cover wasn't a fascination for me.

I'm not a fan of horror movies, so I don't even know Scream. The cover caught my interest since mask tends to convey mystery and I like mysteries. The title though was a put-off. When I read the sample, I couldn't help getting a copy. A few pages into the book and I was hooked.

Usually I hate reading books containing violence and I got creeps just by looking at the cover but as they say never judge a book by its cover...

The cover put me off to be honest, as it made me think the book was more of a horror story. Too scary for me!

Well I read the review of the book The Face OF Fear. This is a murder mystery. I like this book due to the thriller actions present in the story. The cover of the book is also full of attraction with suspense. So I will like to read the book by its cover .
