Did 'Ghost Face' on the cover make you want to read the book more or less?

As other reviewers have mention, this cover reminded me of the movie called scream (except the knife striking part). In the start, I it had no relationship nor familiarity to this read.

The cover really grabbed my attention. It made me wonder if there was some connection to the Scream movies. I knew just from the cover that the book would be very suspenseful.

The cover of the book actually makes me want to read the book more. I haven't actually seen the Scream movies but I know of them and have seen clips of them - including the beginning of the first one - and I think that the face kind of symbolizes fear whether you have seen the movies or not so I feel it was a good choice for the cover.

I am used to enjoy the Scream movies, as well as other horror movies. Not so much anymore because having kids has made me squeamish. I chose to read this book because every once in a while I will pick up a book that may or may not keep me awake at night. Plus the premise sounded interesting.

I was a big fan of the Scream movie franchise and was surprised to see that RJ Torbert coined the term 'Ghost Face'. So it was interesting to me that he didn't revolve the entire book around the iconic face of horror.
I must say, the face on the cover made me want to read the book right away.

The 'Ghost Face' on the cover made me wanna read the book. It piqued my interest and gave me goosebumps. I still have a lot of books on cue, though. I will surely read this next.

Well, the choice of cover showed that the author did not want to use the cliché horrific face used in paranormal books, however the cover itself did not appeal to me tomake me want to read the book.

I'll be honest; I had mixed feelings in the beginning when I saw the cover. My first impression was that the cover was a bit unoriginal, the Ghost Face is a mask that we've seen in horror movies, parodies, and on countless costume racks, and it made me wonder if the story would have any cliches or tropes. However, I thought about how much I love the Scream franchise, especially the first movie, because of how self-aware it was - not to mention how it changed the horror genre. So, I'm going starting the story with high hopes for something different and new.

The face on the cover didn't really affect my desire to read the book. It didn't look exactly like the face from the movie "Scream" so it wasn't an immediate association for me. I was more gripped by the FEAR in bloody looking letters.

After reading over the blurb and everything, the Ghost Face cover actually turned me off from reading the book. I don't have a clear reason for this, but I am definitely a person that relies on the blurb and cover to draw me into the book, and I found this one lacking.
