Is this book good to be adopted in to a film?

This is a wonderful story, and while I was reading it, I was imagining the movie. So yes this must be a movie!

From just the plot of the book, I'd say it would be okay as a film adaptation.
I think in production maybe the title would have to change so that it doesn't get associated with the Da Vinci Code.
It's a really tragic trilogy of films, and its not like the books were great to begin with, and you wouldn't want to be tarnished with the same brush.
Yeah, they're nothing to do with each other but, the general public, i reckon, would just naturally assume it's going to be basically the same thing but with a girl.

I agree with you. I think the book itself is simply okay--it isn't spectacular but it also isn't awful. It isn't one that I thought, "Man, I would love to see this on screen," but if it were made, and it were made properly, it would require a large budget to avoid looking too campy or cheesey, and the title should be changed for the reasons you cited above.

The book definitely has some scenes that would look really amazing on the big screen! The one thing I'd be worried about is that the switching between time periods could be disorienting if it isn't done well--the audience might get a bit confused, especially since most of them won't have read the book.

I think this book could be a very successful movie! My only worry is that a movie would focus even more on Angela's relationship and less on her individual character development. However, I believe it has the right amount of romance, drama and adventure to do well on the big screen!

I think if the story line is strong enough, then maybe. I haven't read the book yet but from all the reviews I have read it sounds great. I think it has what it takes to become a movie.

I see no wrong in adopting the book into a film. However, consent of the author must first be obtained unless you will be sued for infringement on the copyright.

I definitely think this book could be made into a movie, but probably with a few changes to make it a little bit more exciting for the viewer. Mainly, I would like to see more action on the part of the antagonist. He plays a key role at the beginning and the end, but in the middle of the story he doesn't do a whole lot that would be film worthy.

I think it would make a wonderful film. Casting one woman to play the three heroines, and modifying her looks just enough to help the audience tell them apart would emphasize the past-life aspect. I think it is cinematic enough... we start with the WWII flight from the museum as bombs land about them. As scenes are revisited in different ages, soft fades can show the change of time - maybe even using B&W for the WWII scenes and sepia tones for the further past (which could also match the shades of old parchment...)
