What´s your favorite quote?

Post by Lunastella » 21 Jun 2018, 10:10

This book has some amazing language usage, in my opinion. Every single word has a purpose, the dialogues are totally believable and some quotes are really poignant.
So, I thought I´d share my favorite quote from Ironbark Hill, spoken by Bruce Glover:
"That´s an admirable aspiration, to bring beauty to others, Natalie. Admirable indeed. Yes, to aspire to teach art is a splendid objective".
How amazing it is that a girl that lived amongst pain strived for beauty and art!
Share yours!

My favorite quote is a bit long to post here, but it's located at loc 961. It's where Irma stands up to Alex for the first time.

You're welcome. I especially like it because it shows character growth for Irma.

I actually want to read this. I'm interested just based off a few of these quoted and a previous thread I read about learning lessons, I believe. Any story that really gets you thinking about yourself and growth, I like.

You really should give it a chance when you can! It´s a powerful read.
