To me Qasim stood out as a good character and was probably one of my favourites, although Miles was cool as well and was up there in my list of favourite characters.

My favorite characters were Vince and Trudi. I enjoyed reading their conversation. People say that seeing old couples makes them believe that true love exists. I think this is why I enjoyed reading the part about Vince and Trudi.

That's true! I always find it sweet to see old couples.

I'm not really sure who my character would be. I think that a lot of the characters were fun to read about, but I found myself enjoying Vince and Trudi's story the most. They get extra points from me because of their Corgi, Miles.

For a very long time, I actually had no characters I could connect with other than simple things like: "Yeah, I hate watching all the depressing mess on the news, too." But somewhere around halfway through the novel, I started preferring to read Vince and Trudi's POV, and would feel a sort of relief when I got back to them because it felt a bit more realistic compared to Vijay's romance, or with the other fleeting scenarios given with respect to other characters. I actually feel like, as Trudi and Vince's lives (and thoughts) were so well documented in comparison to the others, that I had no choice but to like them most after a while.

My favorite characters were Vince and Trudi. I enjoyed following the course of events and train of thought that lead them to the decision of getting a gun. Their conversations, the way they acted around each other, in good and bad times, everything in them was very realistic and comforting to read. I suffered seeing them talking less and less when they were both sure they were going to die. What a pain.

My favorite character was Vince. He is strong yet very compassionate. I liked the way the author really got into the details of how confused and torn he was about buying a gun. It showed the "human" side of him.
