Women need to get away from their domestic lives from time to time. Women deserve time for outdoorsy activities too. We get so much engrossed in the lives of our children or our husbands that we forget we need some time for ourselves too.

Don't take anything for granted. Amanda and Veronica were both going about their lives as usual. One was involved in a near-fatal journey and the other died. We expect our lives to follow a set trajectory, and often forget that there are forces way outside of our control.

Friendship, that was what I learnt from Reel Sisters. Those women of different age group come together to represent a beautiful friendship and together they try to overcome every problem.

The importance of taking time to learn a new skill or hobby, taking time off to be with friends and just enjoy nature even just for a weekend.

The lesson in friendship was the biggest, that's for sure. Also, that we should live life to the fullest, do whatever makes us happy.
