I don't see anything wrong with writing about them. Sometimes including these abstract topics makes a book very different and peculiar.

Books with bodily functions seems to be funny although at times sickening

There's nothing wrong about bodily functions being included in a book. Makes the book more relatable and realistic

I don’t really have experience with bodily functions context in book but I can say that the addition of this parts were hilarious and fun to read about because of the feeling it had around it.
