Reading all your comments I'm left with the feeling that I might really like the book, even though it is not exactly my type of read.Insightful pieces always motivate me to explore them.

This has changed me for sure.
the better the quality of your relationships, the more likely you are to be happy. So, being a great friend to someone and having friends support your back is good for your wellbeing. But what, exactly, makes a good friend?

It is healthy to have friends since they are the ones who make our days. With friends, you can have people to joke with and even laugh together.

Indeed friendship is like margarine that is sandwiched between us. It is interesting that these girls are bonded due to their fly fishing hobby.

I didn't find anything news about friendship rules in this book, nevertheless it gave me a reminder of being a better friend, always underpromise and overdeliver.

I related to each of them in small ways. With Rose, I related to her trying to help others and forgetting about herself. With Sophia, I related with her second guessing herself. Veronica and her brass way of speaking is me sometimes. Amanda and the weight of her family on her shoulders was me when my kids were younger. Melody and her shyness around people. Sometimes I prefer a book to people.

I learned that friendships come in the strangest places and you don't have to be the same race or in the same age group. It has changed my ideas about friendship. I look forward to meeting more women and accepting people for who they are.
To survive, you must tell stories.

Real friendship stands the test of time. For real friendship to be maintained, there must be mutual respect, loyalty, and forgiveness.

The older I get, the more I realize how difficult it is to make new friends, and the more I appreciate the really good ones that I do have. I really feel like this book captured the essence of true friendship.

I agree to this. Having friends should not be taken for granted. Effort is needed to maintain friendships.
