I didn't see Amanda's death coming at all. I knew that storm indicated that something tragic was going to happen but I never suspected it would be Amanda. I was so sad and their sorrow of the remaining women was heartbreaking.
Death in real life is sometimes unexpected and this book clearly demonstrates that.

No. It was completely unexpected. It made me really sad. It was the most shocking part of the book. It was also very painful that SHE had to die. Her husband just returned and her children were so young.

For me, I kind of saw it coming. In order to make your story interesting, sometimes you need to catch your audience off guard. Give them what they least expected. For me, Amanda dying is a way of making the book more interesting.

I really wanted Amanda to sort things out with her husband. I kind of felt that she was too impatient. I just did not expect her to die.

Not at all. I thought that it was very shocking. Until the end I thought she would survive.

Did you foresee Amanda's death? :o
I didn't.
Once I reached the part where Veronica was on the plane experiencing bad weather and she began praying and texting her last words to her husband, I was sure she would die. Two chapters later, I learn that Amanda died in a car crash. :snooty: This made me cry. :cry2: :cry2: :cry2:
I felt like one of the girls would not make it. It didn't feel like a book where everything was going to be fine in the end. However, I was sue that Melody of Veronica would be the ones hurting.

No way did I see that coming, the storm was going to effect each one of them in a major way, that was a given, however, her sudden demise was not only shocking but also saddening as she was a young mother too. :(

Definitely not. I actually thought this was a happy book. Didn't expect anyone to die, least of all Amanda. Even after the accident occurred, I thought she would survive (or hoped).

Actually, I knew someone was not going to make it once the tension in the plot got heightened. But I didn't imagine it would be Amanda. I thought maybe someone older would die. Amanda's death made it unexpected.

It was definitely out of the blue for me. In hindsight, I should have seen it coming but I found it to be a surprise.
