The story queen of hearts was my favourite therefore Aunt Theresa is my favourite guru in the book.The author's aunt was very sincere and beautiful heart which you could clearly see through her ways.What touched my heart was how she would purposefully loose at game time and endure being called 'old maid' despite the deeper meaning of the name.From her, i learnt that kindness is an act of self-interest it always reciprocates in beautiful ways.

I like the story of the maasai woman and child because it's something that happens in my back yard. What she did is something I probably would have never learnt about from the community directly.

Its very difficult for me to select a single point. The whole story contains many memorable scenes. But the first chapter with aunt Theresa and later the earthquake incident are touchy parts of this story.

My favorite story was in Chapter 16: It’s Just Me. He was giving this vital presentation at a company’s annual convention, and had a volunteer on stage who was going to break a wood board with her hands. At that moment, his wig fell off! People did know he used a wig. He was considered an eligible bachelor in magazines. It was incredibly embarrassing for him so he tried to escape. There was no door behind the curtains, and the audience could see his feet. He had no other option but to go back to the front of the stage. He got the strength and told the audience that was who he really was.

It was hilarious, but I could feel the embarrassment coming through the pages.

It was my favorite story because he learned to be authentic, which I consider quite important.

I agree that I liked the story about his Aunt Teresa. It was quite a sad story but had such a strong message. This would have been such a sad life for her but she tried to brighten her nephew's day.

My best was chapter 15, running with the bulls. I couldn't help but laugh when a guy grabbed Rob's shirt, using him as a booster to help himself transverse the fence, and Rob's silk bull-runner shirt was ripped.

The story about Aunt Theresa was the most touching as she was very influential in Rob's life from since he was a toddler. The story actually relates to almost any of us if we are to reflect back from since we were young. It is also a heart touching story about kindness and caring about other's feelings.

I enjoyed the story of his Uncle with the magic trick and how he turned it into a great lesson of not thinking about the black cat. The very thought really struck home with me as I could see countless times I had only thought of the black cat and not of the good I may have done that day.

I must agree, it was a very powerful story I loved that once he had to face them he didn't make excuses and didn't spew an exasperated reason it was simple, short, and most important raw honesty. As well as the imagery the author portrayed of him trying to escape.
