Do you have a favorite part or scene? (Spoilers)

I, personally, felt like there was never a dull moment in End of the Last Great Kingdom. It was full of exciting moments, whether positive or negative, and I’m curious to see what some of your favorite scenes might be.

For me, there are two scenes that stuck out towards the end of the book. First, I enjoyed finding out that Brimstone and Heat were going to take their relationship further. They are both good, solid characters, and I’d love to see them make a relationship work romantically.
Second, I thought the scene where Brimstone ends the life of General Glen was an important moment for Brimstone, considering it was General Glen who used Brimstone as a political scapegoat.

The whole book had some memorable moments. My favorite scene was when Nova, in an attempt to end his life emerges victorious. All I was thinking was, how did he do it? I ' m glad that as the story progressed, this was answered.

I agree that it was very upbeat throughout the whole book. I really liked the first mage battle because that’s what starts Brimstone’s adventures outside of the school. I also liked how the author wrote that chapter, making it come to life.

@Quartz - Brimstone’s first mage battle was definitely memorable. The author truly does have a way of making his story come to life. Thank you for your feedback!

I refuse to commit myself to any of the scenes. If I say, the love scene was my favorite, then it exposes me as a romantic. If I say, the triumph of Brimstone over an enemy, killing him, then I will be construed as blood-thirsty. I would rather be neutral and say, all are up to par with my liking.

Lol 🙃
All of the scenes really are amazing, though. Everything was vividly described, and I had no problems picturing it all in my head.

I think my favorite scene was his scene with Wartington because it showed a selfless side of Brimstone. We knew that he was willing to sacrifice his life for his friends, but it is another thing entirely to commit to being a servant for months on end just to help those you care about survive. It showed a deep side of Brimstone and one of the qualities that truly made him a hero.

The Whole book is interesting but the heroic point comes in the story when Brimstone kills general Glen, who was continuously blackmailing him.
And the second scene is important when he meets Heat.

I enjoyed the whole book, but liked the part where Brimstone and Heat decided to take their relationship further as well. Yes, I'm a romantic.

I enjoyed the little back story involved with the cube, also.
