I have not read the novel, but seen the movies. Harry and Hermione, plus another mage were a team. In the movie, the script played up the fascination of the viewers by making Hermione overly concerned with Harry. But the tenderness between the two, later, did not ripen to a deeper relationship. The fans seemed a bit betrayed when they did not hit it in the last sequel.

Exactly.! Even in the movies, they were not love interests. Harry and Hermione were close from the start, but it hardly seemed romantic. It was more like the two smart ones sticking together. It was always Ron who looked at her with so much admiration.

I really hope that Rose doesn't make this a major theme in the rest of the series. Even if he does have Brimstone and Heat marry, and even have children, I hope he keeps their relationship as a minor part of the store, an afterthought.

It seems to me that their relationship was pre-destined. Its just a theory I have but maybe in the second book we will see if this holds true.

Maybe it was just something fans of the movies wanted and expected, since that is what usually happens in those situations. I, personally, like the way the couples ended up - at least in the books, not sure if it changed for the big screen.

I’m guessing (and hoping, too) that the relationship won’t take center stage. Even though we knew it would happen, and the idea was brought up, it didn’t dominate the scene in his first book. I would think any future books would follow suit.

I think with books it is the same as with movies. Adding a little romance automatically increases the overall interest in the book.

I think it was bound to happen. There were instances earlier in the novel when Brimstone showed such care for Heat. This made the book look some type of curly paths

I really like the relationship between Heat and Brimstone.I hoped they find a way to build this relation and moved forward to make things better.

I think Brimstone and Heat started out with a little chemistry, but as their relationship flourished, they found out other sides of the other's character that made them fall deeper in love with each other. And the time they spent apart helped them to mature into the people that the other person would be proud of and want to love.

I cheered this one and was glad when it happened! Yes to them!

They've chemistry, Brimstone and Heat. I agree.
