I've not finished reading the first book but will definitely read the second after reading the first.

I generally try to avoid reading serialised books because of my impatience in having to wait for the next one. I didn't really enjoy this one but I may red the next one just to know what happens.

On balance, yes, because I note that this is a debut and that the author welcomes all criticism. This means that the second book is likely to be better. The first one wasn't bad but showed some room for improvement and the author is clearly open to feedback; plus writers often get better as they go along.

The next one is not for me, I really have to be fully engaged and left wanting to read more to continue in a series. Will see.

The first book book is interesting and creates a gap for the second as it ends. There are questions I believe the sequel will answer well.

Before reading the next sequel, I am quite confident that you will give us another interesting review. And we will decide -- to use the cliche -- when we come to cross the bridge.

I'm not a fan of reading second parts unless I love that book. :techie-studyingbrown:

I do hope for the opportunity to review the second book. I’m looking forward to reading it, either way. :)

This is not a genre I typically choose, in fact it is the only book of this genre that I have read, read it twice. So I will read the second book.

I hope it is released soon. All the publishers states about the release date is 2018, but 12/31/2018 is still 2018.

I think I will since I still have a few questions left over from finishing the first book. Besides, I love it when fantasy books are in a series. That way, the adventures will still continue.
