Of course, this amazing book has compelled me to look for the second book too. When you read some interesting book and it has other volumes it keeps you waiting for the next series, just as I am waiting for second book of Strong Heart series...

I can't wait to read the second book in the series. I hope it will be more interesting.

I might check out the second one but I'm not sure. I started out liking this one but then it was a bit too much for me. I'll have to seriously take it under consideration.

I do not think I will read it. I am not overly fond of fantasy at the best of times, so I really struggle when you need to read a second or third book to get complete closure about a story. I prefer books that are stand alone novels that are completely wrapped up by the final page.

I am definitely planning on reading the second book. Brimstone is still under a curse, and we don't even know the full extent of it or its background! Who cursed him? How long can he go without dying? Does anyone else we know have that curse? There are too many questions left unanswered for me not to read it!
I agree, and look forward to having some of my questions answered, as well. :)

Understandable. Series aren’t for everyone.

I’m definitely going to read the next book. I’m almost finished with the book now and can’t wait to see how it ends.

The first book was promising. But it did not capture my attention enough for me to read the next book.

This series sounds really interesting, but since I haven't read the first book yet, I'd have to wait to see about the sequel.

I will definitely like to read book two. I want to know what happens when Crimson returns to the school. What will they find? Will Brimstone get the other parts of his soul, or will he need to bond with more demons? Also the author mentioned that he will be studying how power corrupts good people, which makes me worry about our heroes. Will they become wicked and corrupted? I have questions!

Sometimes series tend to drag out. But in those cases. I just read on to find out how it all ends.

Absolutely, the first thing I did after reading this was check if I can buy the sequels already. Since it ended on a cliffhanger, I actually wanted to continue reading them right away.

Does anyone think they will need to reread the first book for a quick refresher before the next book comes out?

I will, most probably read the first book again, just so the characters and the kingdom are all fresh in my memory with all the richness and detail

Do I plan to read the second book of End of the Last Great Kingdom? I think the possibility is highly unlikely. Generally, I do not enjoy this genre.
