Suggest an alternative title?

Given the themes of the book, was the title misleading? Would a different one be better?

My suggestion: Swinging by the South Pacific.

Having not read this book, the title sounds like a futuristic adventure story. I see from other threads it's got a lot of explicit stuff in the book. I wouldn't expect that from the title. I'd call it something that reflects the content. Maybe 30th Century: Lovescapes lol.

You're right, lovescapes would fit! One reason the title is misleading is that very little of the action actually takes place in the 30th century.

I like it as well. Seems to be a more accurate title :D

As the actual "Escape" from the 30th century was over within the first chapter, I have a tendency to agree. Is "Back to the future" taken? How about ... "Surviving in the past"?

Haha! Well then since just a little bit was in the 30th century it can be "Escaping the 30th Century and then moving on with the rest of the book"

The word "escape" somewhat depicts negativity. If I would suggest an alternative title, it will be "30th Century: A Journey to the Past" if that would make sense.

I didn't like the book and one the reasons is the title was misleading.
I cant think of a good title right now. Will submit it once I get an idea.

If I were titling it, I'd go with something like "Heros" or "We Could Be Heros", "A Hero In Time", or given the explicitness of the book, "The Lonely Hero" lol
