I think that sex scenes should be used to enhance the story not as the main focus of the story. I think that when there are too many sex scenes it can distract from the plot and overall purpose of the story. I am not a fan of the nude picture because the details in the story should speak for themselves. The author words should create the mental pictures that allow you to imagine these scenes not pictures.

It was a real distraction. But every intense book needs a distraction.

I wouldn't say so. It's okay for a book to have some distraction in the midst of all that intensity. That's my opinion though.
Most times, I fall flat on my face. But never do I remain on the floor; I rise again.

It’s very rare that a male author accurately and sensitively captures female sexuality and from the sound of it, this book just goes overboard.

Sex for the sake of sex is just a distraction. I'm of the opinion that all the sex was added in to distract the reader from the plot issues.

I don't think it as you do, but in truth the book contained too many sex scenes that took the attention away from the main story.

Yes - I think the focus on the erotic scenes took away from Jennifer's inner struggles and identity crisis. Those scenes didn't always seem to jive with the way the author initially portrayed her character. Many times, I questioned the author's intent behind those scenes.

Yes, I wished that the book focused more on the plot, especially during the second half. Too much sexual scenes kinda makes it lose its appeal.

Not typically sex hungry, but there are too many sex scenes that take the attention away from the main topic. Most have them have been explained in too much detail

A monotony of sex scenes overshadows every sense of a good story.

I have not read your review on this book so I can't answer your question right now.

If you had redirected me to the location of your review and told me to post my answer here, I could have followed the thread.

I had searched on Amazon but this book is no longer free.

My moon+ reader app library doesn't have this book.

If I could read your review, I will shoot my answer. ??
