She is definitely love struck, I agree, but she’s also a bit carefree. This is completely fine, of course, just out of place in this particular novel.Paul78 wrote:I have gone through several reviews done on this book. The book has sexual scenes and one may tend to think that the woman is sexually hungry. But it seems that she is love struck.
Did you feel like it is a story of a sex-hungry woman

I can see why you would say that, and it’s too bad so many share your view!Reviewer Book wrote:I think the main story was lost amongst the numerous sex scenes.

I wouldn’t compare it to 50 Shades of Grey. Those who read that book knew there was sexually explicit content. Also, the scenes were completely different, with one being about dominance and the other about threesomes and exploration. I’m assuming the intended audience is simply typical science fiction fans, as that is the genre.inaramid wrote:So I take it that it's capitalizing on the success of 50 Shades of Grey to sort of rope in readers from the science fiction genre? Who was the intended audience for this book in the first place?

I would steer clear, then.ladycraic wrote:Wow, I've definitely changed my mind on whether I will be reading. Sex scenes make me uncomfortable.

I agree. If explicit scenes make you uncomfortable, then this is probably not the book for you.Reviewer Book wrote:I would steer clear, then.ladycraic wrote:Wow, I've definitely changed my mind on whether I will be reading. Sex scenes make me uncomfortable.

I agree, and I think that is the consensus among most readers.Chepkemoi95 wrote: ↑21 Nov 2017, 05:52 Yes, there were so many sex scenes that would distract you from the main plot
