Ana-Maria-Diana wrote:I don't think that in this book we can blame one persone or one group. It is hard. Leaving aside the lack of information, it is all about how human beings are created. Deep down no one is only good or only evil. It is within us the readers to accept all characters as they are and to see the good that is in the bad and the bad that is in the good. So for me, it does not exist a full antagonist.
I agree that we cannot blame one person or one group in this book. Thank you for your insightful view.

Exactly no one is only good or only evil. Everyone has a grey side to them.

Yes! But, hopefully there will still be a clear antagonist in the next installment.

Even after reading this book, I am not clear as to who is to blame. Unless I just missed something completely, I don't think there was enough information to formulate an opinion here.

I don’t think you missed anything. I wasn’t able to really formulate an opinion, either. Maybe after reading the next book!

I agree there is no single culprit, but still want more information.

I think it was the Naturals who created them. Whenever someone tries to perfect creation, it always goes horribly awry.

The conflict seemed more like a backdrop that I keep wondering if thinking about it would already be "overthinking" it. A lot of things were just thrown back to make way for the "other" things that the book deemed more important.

Too many people got involved, Jennifer is the center of the story. Some part I don't like it but I learn something on the way Jennifer deals with a strangers.
When everything seems too late, but it's not. God is there! Just keep on believing Jesus.
