I would only read the other books in the trilogy if I could be fairly sure that they had improved on the shortcomings of this one, which include formulaic and predictable adventure scenes, inaccurate French and gratuitous, repetitive sex scenes.

No. I cannot take more of that robotic dialog and daily minutiae of the characters.

I don't think I'll be reading the next book. There was just two much of the story wrapped around unrealistic sexual incounters. It read almost like a porn, one minute something is happening and then it just goes straight into very descriptive sex with everyone.

I usually always want to know what happens next in a series, but as others have said it is a bit too sexual for my taste and unless I knew the next book wasn't like that as well I don't think I'll be reading it.

I don't think I will reach out and get the second one in this series. Although I didn't hate it, and in fact there was much of the book I enjoyed, I don't think I will invest in reading the second book of the series. There is way too much extraordinary literature out there that I don't need to stick with this one.

I like if there is another book but with limitation on sex issues. Sex issues must be controlled

If book 2 is anything like the first, I would probably not read it.

I have not even read the first book but judging by the comments, it does not seem like my kind of book. So, the answer is no. I am not looking forward to reading the sequel.

I would love to read the next book if there is less focus on the sex. It didn't add anything to the book. I would love to have more of the backstory about the 30th century or even a flash forward to the 27th to show if the teams are successful in their assault on the Syndos.

Sure, I will try book two perhaps the sex scenes maybe toned down with the scientific aspect amplified.

Not interested. I didn't even mind the sex scenes, the book just did not grab me at all.

Not really. I don't know how the author is planning to expand the plot (there was none of it in reality, there were just explicit scenes). But if he decides to write a fully different book that is not connected to this one, possibly I could give it a try.

In my opinion, I do not like the second parts, unless that book is very good.
