If the first book leaves its mark, I would be willing to pick up the second.

There were a lot of unanswered questions in the first book, so I would like to have those answered. Overall, I am not excited about the second book and I probably won't read it. The book didn't leave me on any cliffhanger and it gave me no desire to keep reading. I was actually more relieved when I had finished the book than I was anticipatory of the second book.

It is unfortunate that the second half was not so good.

I was more relieved to have finished the book when I did, as well. I am still debating whether or not I’ll read the second.

I’m glad you enjoyed the first book so much, and I hope the second meets your expectations.

I don't think so. The first book is always the deciding factor for me. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that I wouldn't read anything by this author.

I am excited for the next book. Hoping for that the author included some scene flashing back and forth on the two century.

I won’t seek out the second book, but if I come across it on this site I will probably read it.

No, I do not want to read the second book. I was too disappointed in this first one.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the second novel in this trilogy. Mark Kingston is a good writer and I believe considering the reviews and criticisms of the first novel, he will definitely write the second novel better. Writing is art and writers improve daily. There is no perfect writer.

I wasn't too interested in this one so I probably won't read the next one. Maybe if it is not about Jennifer at all and is the story of what is going on with her team that she abandons, I will give it a read.

No, I'm not going to bother with the rest. I love sci-fi and this one held great promise at the start, but then it degenerated into a sex book. I really don't want to read about any more of her sexcapades.
