Alice as a person was shown nicely in this story. Her calmness and composed all the time.

None of the characters really stood out to me. They weren't particularly likeable,though I feel the story stood on its own.

I still go for Kylie, though it seems I am her lone advocate. She was steadfast in the mission and forgiving of Jennifer. I think those are two traits I would want to have myself.

I would say Alice was my favorite character. Under whatever circumstances, she was able to stand firm and stick to her principles.

Seriously though, are any of them well drawn enough to get excited about? I was impressed by Jennifer at first, but as the book wore on, I was left without a firm impression of who she had been in the 30th century.
