Well, I'd say having great conviction and loyalty to your values and being able to withstand resistance and maintain those values no matter what happens. Faith , love, and strength go hand in hand in my view, and that is what makes a strong heart stronger.

While there could be many attributes of a strong heart, the most important aspect of it for me is being able to live the fullness of life amidst all the trials, obstacles and challenges surrounding it. This point of view has been apparent in the persona of Sarah. A virtue that is indeed worth emulating.

I think its being able to make a decision, and see it all the way through.

To me it's someone who can handle emotional struggle without breaking down or falling apart. Also someone who knows how to guard their heart.

She was named Strong Heart because of her conviction. Despite all odds, physical hurt, and internal turmoil, the protagonist did not fail in her endeavour, be it paddling the boat, adjusting to new people, or reading thoughts. Her thin frame did not define her ability, and she proved it by working harder than ever. The character of Strong Heart is quite similar yet unlike Sarah.

Two things I think, strength and perseverance.
No idea is a bad idea.

Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans.

I'd use the same definition for inner strength. It's inner courage without the absence of fear but having the propensity to tackle fear itself. It's inner power to conquer not necessarily anyone else but, instead, one's self. It's wisdom not just acquired through the years, but also through the richness of one's life experiences.

I agree that a strong heart doesn't remain complacent and static, but is receptive and dynamic so as to journey towards what's good.

I agree. Sarah really embodied the essence of her native name.

I agree that it takes seasoned wisdom and inner courage to find enough reason, strength and will power to get up after a fall.
