Adrift cover and back cover concept

Attached are copies of the back cover and cover of Adrift, the next in the Strong Heart series. I apologize as somehow it seems the copies are darker than in "real life" but by the time of publication we will have it sorted out....plus because I took photos of the sample the pictures are not fully square, a fault not of the designer Sonja Gerard, or the original material but your humble scribe (who is a near disaster when it comes to software, files, copying, and downloading - as you can surely see)....but this will give you an idea, at least....

That back cover synopsis makes me afraid that the sequel will be a totally unrelated story that fails to tie up any of the loose ends...but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

I like the arrow motif and the map background. It's very stylish. I'm not sure about the blurb on the back though. For some reason I hear a dramatic movie trailer voice when I read it, lol.

Both of them looks good, but as the first book they look to recent and the ancient legends are not pictured.

I like the symbolism behind the covers that, I believe, transcends what could be merely readily readable from what's written. The raging ship fire and the tempestuous ocean waves of the front cover signify life's uncertainties and tribulations. Yet the back part gives us hope, such as when the waters always reach the shores no matter what, where and how far such have gone to.
I loved the first book. I'm looking forward to reading this next book.
