I think more than age, it is the trust that we develop by being along with a person.Gingerbo0ks wrote:I think they would have been more likely to believe her if she was older as it would seem less like a childish fantasy. However, it's still a pretty tall story to explain, and the characters had not known Sarah for long enough to tell if she was a truthful or trustworthy person.

Maybe. I think maturity affects trust more than age does. Some young people are very trustworthy if they're mature.Salsabila wrote:Sarah's young age might lead a person to believe that she is in her own personal fairy tale. Had Sarah been older would her story have been more believable?

Exactly.. whereas some oldies cannot be trusted as they are not trust worthy.Shaimaa wrote:Maybe. I think maturity affects trust more than age does. In Sara's case, i think maturity played an important role in every of her action.
But generally, every old age person is expected to gain more trust due to experience and their integrity.

I think I agree that older characters are easier to trust, but I also wonder if they are more likely to be 'stuck in their ways'.Ash and Stars wrote:Although Sarah is mature for her age, I feel that characters that are older are easier to trust

Older characters are easier to trust but I do agree that their perspectives could be a little more biased.himynamestom wrote:I think I agree that older characters are easier to trust, but I also wonder if they are more likely to be 'stuck in their ways'.Ash and Stars wrote:Although Sarah is mature for her age, I feel that characters that are older are easier to trust
