While reading the book, I was hoping to see more of a relationship building between Tom and Sarah. There wasn't a lot of depth to Tom's character as I would have like.

My critique is that the writing could be more polished and the transitions need a little work. But after saying that, I feel that this author has more stories to tell and that there are future novels to come.

The descriptions of Sarah's 'Adventures' were too lengthy and because of very straight forward and factual language used there seemed like I was reading report of the events rather than a story or narrative.

I felt some parts of the book seemed out of place, almost inhuman and unrealistic in a way. The lack of tension definitely added to this depersonal feeling.

indeed a little more background on the characters should be presented and I will be able to relate more if I had a bit more piece of information

I felt the element of surprise was missing. There was some action, but not enough surprise of it to keep the story going. The book could do with another round of editing by introducing surprise

I would like to know more about the adult characters. Unlike Sarah, their characters seemed underdeveloped.

I agree with the lack of tension and anticipation. I felt like although the story was interesting, there was no powerful force to make me want to keep turning the pages, and I could have easily put the book down.

That's a good question. This book is missing something, but it's hard to pinpoint one thing that would help it the most. I think trimming down some of the descriptive talk about things like the very specific and drawn-out boat scenes or reptitive scientific facts.

The more an author develops character, the better in my opinion. I love books that give me a character I can fully feel for and empathize with. I also love to have a bit of mystery and intrigue unfold in a novel. I don't know what is missing from this book, as I haven't read it, but it might help the author anyway.

I missed the characters from the past. They were brave all through their journey.

I felt that the reader gained a lot of insight into Sarah, Myra, Sergai, and sometimes Tom. I would have liked to know more about the thoughts and feelings of Tom and William. I also thought it was odd that Sarah never knew the real names of the people in her vision. I understood why she gave them names in the beginning based on character traits, but she had to have known their real names after a short while.
