How did you feel about Sarah in the beginning?

Compared to her evolution into a strong hearted person, she was very weak and ignorable in the beginning just like everyone. We learn from our experiences and eventually grow strong.

Exactly there was so much dynamics to her character..it is more real and close to real life. Many in those circumstances will be like that.

I had soft corner for her character always.

I thought she acted exactly as one would expect a young teenager who had been pushed from pillar to post to act. I did find it hard to pin point her age, I'm not sure this was mentioned straight away?

I did find her rude, but I'm not sure that the reader is supposed to enjoy her character right from the beginning anyway.

That could be true. Maybe she was supposed to be unlikable at first.
