We have the story of Tom's camping trip and Sara's journey. Which story did you find more interesting? I found journey, and the story of the Native American, the more interesting of the two, though it could have been tightened.

I found Strong Heart's story to be the best part of the book. It was good seeing the development of Tom and Sarah's relationship, but honestly, she came off too much of a brat to me in the beginning and I became less interested in her story.

When the story first shifted to Strong Heart, I felt it was distracting. Then I got into it and felt the return to the present day was distracting. In the end, I liked both.

I enjoyed Sarah's story more. It was enthralling

I liked the camping story more. It was easier to follow and I really enjoyed all the descriptions of the places they went.

I thought Sarah's story was interesting, but it could have been told better. I was really disappointed that the camping story was left as a cliffhanger.

I agree about her coming off as a brat. While some of her negativity was warranted, not all of it was. Some of it was just pessimism, and yes, her just being bratty.

I found the shifts distracting, too. It didn't seem like a natural flow to the story, but I was able to adapt to the changes in the book quickly enough.

I preferred Sarah'stumble journey to be honest.

This is a perfect way to describe how I felt about the two storylines. The transitions back-and-forth could have been smoother, but became okay after reading a few pages of each. I'm not sure I would say that I liked both or one versus the other since I had a tough time enjoying the story overall.

Yes I agree it has story within story .I feel camping story is more interesting. Their crispy dialogues often bring smile on the face.

I'm only a little way through at the moment, and I think I prefer the present day Sarah's story. I'm sure I'll enjoy both. I had read reviews so knew that there would be a story in a story. I might have found it a bit odd otherwise.

Their camping story was interesting too. It's just cool to note that there are many stories within one main story.

I agree as well that the transition between storylines wasn't done that smoothly.

I enjoyed both sections but enjoyed watching Tom, Sarah, William, etc, grow and bond together more than watching Sarah as Strong Heart.
