I like the character of Sarah, she was strong-willed.

Tom is the most interesting to me. He has a lot of development and back story and drama to deal with.

My favourite character was Sergei. I love he fact that he believed the story from William and was patient with Sarah as he requested to get the rest of the story.

Strong Heart was the best character, her strength, and her ability to never give up, was the best for me.

I am only a quarter of the way into the book, but Myra is already my favorite character. Let's see if that changes as I read on, but I like her heritage, and her strong belief system.

Sara/Strong Heart, because of strength in both realities. She seemed like a pain in the butt to begin with but I think that was just an act of self-protection from the death of her mother, her step-father and step-brother and then the way her grandmother treated her. When her grandfather gave her the chance to be herself she became a true Strong Heart.

I liked Myra, strong, matured, took care of her father as well as Sarah. Teenagers are difficult to handle but Myra did a very good job with Sarah.

Myra was my favorite character in the story as she is always able to make Sarah feel comfortable in her situation. She was a support to Tom and William when Sarah got lost during the expedition. Sarah relies on Myra when misery (sexual abuse) befalls her and reaches out to Myra. However, I didn't like all the bloodshed involved in Sarah's vision.
