Would you agree to life on sea?!

Post by Preciosonic » 13 Sep 2017, 19:08

Hi,Dearies, having read the reviews of this book,I was both intrigued and bewildered. I can't possibly fit the scenario in my head of a mother on the Ocean with her spouse and growing children and friends, how was she able to survive with the trauma, that I won't know until I read the memoir.

Now my question, if your spouse or spouse-to-be promise you a life on the Ocean, would you agree and why,?

I'm an internet junkie who likes taking long walks. I don't see how life on the sea would ever agree with me.

I could not see myself ever living on the sea. I cannot swim, seafood is not a favorite of mine, I love hiking mountains, and going on walks through nature. I am not meant for the water, but I applaud those who do it! Lol! (:

It surely sounds fun but since I'm scared of the sea or the ocean I wouldn't agree

Yes, please? Maybe not for my entire life, but I definitely love the ocean and would enjoy this.

I love the sea but I don't think I would want to live in the sea. I think I would become bored with it fairly quickly.

I don't think I could live on the sea. I would love to live by the sea and swim in the ocean, but always having the waves under me night and day would grow tiresome. I would long to take a walk and feel the dirt beneath my feet.

Nope, never. Small sailing trip in the Caribbean, yes. Living in a catamaran, no way, no how.
Life without a good book is something the CatInTheHat cannot imagine.

Grateful to get the opportunity to explore new books with those in the OBC.

I would agree to Semester at Sea, which is about 6 months long, but that's it. I couldn't even handle living on an island for more than a month, so being on a boat would be worse for sure!

Maybe. But it would depend on how much I can bear my spouse to such an extent. :P

I would love to be a passerby or just watch from afar, not a see dweller. I don't know how life would be on the see.

I don't know that I'd agree to spend my life on the sea, but I'd try to compromise and spend, say, 6 months at sea and 6 months on land.
