Yes! I have so many good memories of camping! I hope you can go someday. Be sure to bring warm clothing because it gets colder than you'd think at night! :)

We are poor as dirt, so my parents got a deal at a ski lodge in big bear that was cheap since it was summer. Me and all my many siblings had a great time soaking in the hot tub and staying up late in the loft

I believe you! I'll probably be warring like three sweaters to bed!

If we got a chance, I'd be to Paris to see the city of love. Everyone at home loves the city.

That sounds great to me! Paris was always a place that interested me and it still does to this day. I don't know when I will end up going but hopefully, I will before I die.

There are too many to just pick one! For fun, Disney World. We loved the Cayman Islands and Jamaica.

I have many family trips I remember from when I was little. One of my dearest is when my family and I went to a beach to collect clams and oyster. I have never liked eating them but I loved collecting them because we made competitions to see who collected more and the winner was allowed to use the sunroof of the car for more time.

I remember camping our way from Ontario out west to British Columbia when I was 6. I kept a diary of all the train tunnels I saw, enjoyed seeing the Dinosaur Park in the badlands in Alberta and remember the giant trees on the coast of British Columbia. Once we reached the west coast and were ready to camp our way back home, my parents made the crucial mistake of telling my 2 year old brother we were going home. His 2 year old mind thought we would be home that night - he didn't understand that if it took us a week to get there, it would take us another week to get back home. He was distraught!
peace starts with a smile...

I went to Scotland with my family. It was like travelling back in time, seeing all the castles and exploring them. I was still young enough to be able to role play that I was living in the era that these were inhabited. We saw a lot of other tourist attractions too, like the Military Tattoo, but I absolutely loved playing in those castles!

Penny Lee wrote:My best family memories were of camping together. Each year we went to the same lake, but on some special years we went on trips further away -- to the Black Hills of South Dakota, Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, and another year on a long camping trip through B.C., Yukon Territory, and Alaska. It was amazing to see the natural wonders such as caves, mines, geysers, paint pots, Mountains, and wildlife, but even more special to spend relaxed time together as a family.
I too would love to go on a camping trip! I visited many of those places in my tweens, but would appreciate being able to see them in a more leisurely pace, combined with the fun of setting up and being in a tent, cooking outdoors, etc.

I haven't really had time to travel to any special place with my family. But if I get a chance, I will definitely pick Dubai as my number one place, because I've heard a lot of positive things about Dubai.

I recently made a family trip to sawat(kpk,Pakistan). It was a memorable trip .The scenic beauty of Shangla hills inspired me a lot. I would like to go to other parts of northern areas like kaghan ,Naran.

When I was a child, my father would take us to the northern part of New Mexico to visit my relatives and to fish and camp. Eventually we got a little cabin there and would stay most every weekend. I enjoyed it very much; the quiet and belonging to nature and listening to the trees talk to the wind.

I was to the seaside with my 2 little boys this summer and it was great. I love the sea and they loved to play in the sand. We traveled by train and they adored it. Can wait to repeat the experience.

That would definitely be our whirlwind around the perimeter of the US in three weeks trip. 4 of the 5 of us did that trip in 1995, and we still talk about it. We saw everything from waterfalls in Yellowstone and Niagara to Ford Theater, where Lincoln was assassinated to partying in New Orleans and seeing the set of Steel Magnolias in Natchitoches. Alabama has the best chicken and waffles, and Georgia has the best peach ice cream.
