I agree. It's important to take on the cultural sights that you will encounter.

I'd be a mix between eco and adventure. They are both things I love doing.

There's so much to love about travelling! I think my favourite things are seeing gorgeous buildings and artwork, and trying new foods.

Mix, but food is on the top of my list.

Very sensible, water should be up there as well

Jokes aside, I agree- I always want to try the local cuisine when I go somewhere new too. I find wandering about by myself & speaking to locals more crucial to actually getting a feel for the place though.

For me, it depends on the place I am visiting. If I am someplace near the water, I like to be at the beach all the time and don't fancy being much of a tourist. If I am in a great city like Paris, for example, I love to see the museums and visit all the historical sites.

I like to visit museums or historical buildings and places. I also like to wander around the countryside and see the nature of the land.

I am a tourist who love to know each and every thing about the place I visit. Especially about the food habits because I am a big foodie.

I am a mix too!! I love nature, museums, architecture! I love visiting new places and sampling all kinds of experience s they have to offer! However, I am very hesitant in eating anything I don't know, preferring to stick to standard fare -- so not much of a food traveller!!

I'm a mix. I really think it depends on where I am. East coast US I tend to be cultural because of the history. Caribbean and Mexico I have been adventurous.

Am the type of person that likes to be a little bit of everything, and that doesn't change when it comes to what kind of tourist I would want to be

I am a mix. I like to meet people from different cultures, sample their food, see the scenery and native animals. I also enjoy theme parks (to please my inner child). Regardless of all that I like to see, I can guarantee what type of tourist I will always be - a lost tourist. I manage to achieve this every time I travel, even when exploring my own country!

Except for going on a spring break trip when I was a kid, I really haven't been anywhere far enough away to be a tourist. However, I do think I'd be a mix. I love to see sights and learn more about the history of a place, but the culture of the moment is very interesting to me as well. I'd really like to go to Germany and see the castles there, visit some pubs and of course hit the chocolate and sweet shops, but also see some famous places that tie into Germany history and writing, if possible. I think as a traveler, soaking up as much about the town and people as you can should be your main goal.
