I do. If the book is good written then it becomes quite enjoyable to read what the people went through and what they learnt from it.

To be honest, it all depends. I'm more into fiction because it's really the only way I get a break from reality. Memoirs very often document the harsh realities of life and often times rather than feel inspired by someone else overcoming their obstacles, I just get depressed thinking I haven't effected any change in mine. It can be double edged blade, at least for me. If non-fiction is relatable I can be completely engrossed or left feeling inadequate. Other times it can be an absolute bore. I love fiction and traveling to new worlds inside my head, because let's be honest this one kind of sucks lol.

When reading Fiction I love the perspective of other peoples lives. I think it can be interesting, inspiring, and sometimes a breath of fresh air. Sometimes when I am out in public I find myself wondering about the people around me and their unique lives. Reading gives you that intimate view of another life. Isn't that ultimately why we read in the first place!

No. I like to dream a lot and I like to read books which are out of the world to have a different experience.

Of course, yes! Experience, they say, is the best teacher, but it costs. So why wait to experience it yourself when you can learn from others? Learning from others' experience can make you leave a more cautious life.

Yes, I especially love reading about peoples experiences in places I've never been. One person can't go everywhere and do everything so it is great that we get to at least pretend while reading other people's experiences.

Reading books about other people's experiences is the meat and potatoes of a reader who wants to get to know people that he would not normally meet. The writers of these kinds of books do us a great service by stoking the imagination and enabling us to enjoy the thoughts and adventures of others.

I do enjoy reading about the experience of others. Sometimes I gain completely new knowledge, every person has his own point of viewand own thoughts ,such as if it is an area or an event of which I am completely unaware. Other times I can at least somewhat relate, which sparks my own memories.

I enjoy reading about other people's experiences. I can learn new viewpoints and ideas. If the author is a descriptive writer, I can feel as if I've traveled to those places and experienced the activities with him/her.

Yes I do, because you can't learn everything from your own experience, it is necessary to learn from others as well

I think that's the main reason I read novels... To get other people's experiences.
